Staff retreat is OVER! the months of planning. I believe it went very well, or rather i choose to think that way. We had a two days one night retreat starting off at TFSC. We had planning at the centre, went to Sakura for a buffet dinner and headed off to Sentosa.. checked in and went to Del Mar to chill and swim in the pool.. it was soooo relaxing really. Its the first time i saw all my colleagues letting loose.. we played taboo and other games.. it was really fun. We slept in the Kampong Huts and were chatting in there till the wee hours of the morning. The next day, we had a race.. just like amazing race which ended with all of us taking the luge and skyride 3 x. It ended on a good and high note. I had fun myself. I was soooo tired that i got home and was stuck to my bed. SO tired. The next day, i had to work. It was the MWS flag day but thankfully, I was a centre supervisor so i could sit down at the counter..Phew! It was a relaxing weekend.. Sun had to go for a course , work related too. haha. Its going to get more hectic at work for me henceforth. I've been asked to sit on another excutive committee known as Silver Connect. I'm basically the in charge of Tampines Changkat CC and have to do networking and liasing with them to work with the community in different ways. So basically i'll be having coffee's and tea's with the MP. haha. I just had my first email from the CC committee to liase with them. Somehow, i just feel that its planned to be this way. A step closer to my dream. God works in mysterious ways. Am looking forward though i know my hands are going to be more tied up.

Anyway, on a lighter note, i bought the Singapore Women's weekly Magazine and they have a whole booklet of 1 -1 deals at great restaurants! check it out!
