Hong Kong was great. Beautiful reminiscence. As i saw the no 8 and 28 minibuses whizz past me, i felt like i took the bus yesterday. As i had desserts or passed by Ladies Market and street shops, i remembered the bags filled with items bought 2 years ago. As i attended church and had Dimsum lunch in Northpoint, i began to wonder how different life would have been if i had stayed on in HK 2 yrs ago.Nothing has changed, literally nothing. I still get lost in the streets and enjoy Dimsum to the max.Knowing that i only had 5 days there, i partyed like crazy. Those who the best times partying to be honest. Having the connections helped as i got into the most premium clubs in the city, and paid nothing:)
This trip was really a blessed one. I spent little as i didnt pay for accomodation and for a lot of food. Thanks to my friend Prity, who hosted me there. It was a beautiful house and i am soo thankful for her company.. Met so many friends..not all but just about 10 plus.. Thats why i didnt get to shop much, mostly on the last 2 days.. but i spent the time i had to shop well enough. I think if i had shopped everyday, i would have burst my budget fer sure. On the very first day of arrival, i met Kannie. At the end of the night, she actually prayed for me in front of Peninsula hotel and that really touched me.. to see her concern for my life and her fervour for Him. On the second day, Micheal really showed me how patient he could be, waiting for me! and of course, Kelly too. Lunch, shopping and Mango madness! I had such bad sore eyes, the worst in my life. I wouldn;t know what to do if not for the miracle eye drop my friend's mother applied for me. I would never party with my spectacles! Chocolux after dinner..just pure chocolate and wine. Fun night meeting international people at night..Meeting Shirleen on Saturday was awesome. We had such good food at pizza express and it has been sucha long time chatting with her. Then again, partying with the locals on Sat night was interested. Police check! Hilarious. This NEVER happens in Singapore. Slept by 4am so as to wake up for church the next day. And in my daze, i did. I'd never would have missed it. Was nice being back to familiarity once again. I guess, whether in Singapore, HK, or anywhere, church is about meeting God and thats all that matters.
I was stuffed to the core with dimsum! only paid like s$11 for like almost 30 dishes. crazy crazy. Went to Causeway bay and met Trista for dessert at Lucky dessert . Thereafter, i started to search high and low for a shrug but only found a few.. barely any time and i met Katie. My hot dance friend from RC Lee Hall. She actually walked ard with me in her high heels! how do they do it man. Met GLadys, Chris and Mandy for dinner at Causeway Bay. Yet another BIG BIG meal. Loved it! Chris baby is also really really cute and i feel so has matured faster for her age.. It was in that conversation i realised that Social workers there are paid that much more. of course, they value this profession a lot more there. Should i move there to work? should i not?
Finally at about 10pm, i got the chance to shop at ladies market and thats where i got a lot of my stuff..Got home past midnight and slept till like 12 pm the next day. I could barely feel my feet from all the walking. I was sooo dead beat! Monday was my last day there and i just had lunch at home and went to Prince Edward for last minute shopping. I managed to get some good stuff i must say. I felt so bad being lost on the way to kelly's hotel to take the taxi to the airport but they were so gracious to not give me a hard time. At the airport, we had to tour ard the international terminal, only to realise that Jetstar leaves from a new terminal a distance away. Checked in and while we were Q'ing to give our passports and enter the gate, i saw many people carrying boxes of Krispy Kreme! Oh man, i detoured , ran up to get a box from the airport. Thanfully they accepted Mastercard. I knew i just had to get some donuts. Almost late for our flight as Kelly and i had such a brilliant idea to smuggle food into the plane but we had to finish our drink before that! Gosh, so dramatic.

This trip, was meaningful to me. I wanted to do so much but when i reached there, i felt no need to rush and pack my program. I took it as it came and i was barely able to decide each day, what i wanted to do. Thanks to all of you who made my trip a memorable one: Kelly and Family, Prity and Family, Kannie, Micheal, Shirleen, Trista, Lydia, Maggie, Gladys, Chris, Mandy, Katie and many more who conversed with me.

Back to HK in 2 years.
