Much happier today. A week of confusing emotions. on Wed, we celebrated my Aunt's birthday. My Aunt was suffering from depression and Anxiety. Seeing her on wed after some time really cheered me up. She was doing so much better. God really healed her. She has been so fervent in going to church for the past few weeks and i guess her faith has done her well. She never gave up on God or herself. She knew she would get over this illness. It was just about how long she could stand the test of time. Her son, 11 years old also went thru a miracle. He dreamt of Jesus, Mary, Joseph, angels and all of them giving glory to God through songs. He woke up and told him mum that he wanted to follow Jesus and give his life to Him. Really a miracle indeed, thanks to the drama at home. My uncle is not a believer and my aunt is so that has caused lotsa conflicts, esp when its gotta do with their son. So my cousin made the decision himself. I'm so happy for him. This shows how real God is and that miracles do happen. Take your faith higher!
Attended Martin's wedding yesterday. They've had a cyber, long distance relationship all this while. The bride is from Taiwan and he made occasional trips there and back. Other than that, he relied on a webcam every single day. To him, it was the connection that was important and they find that by praying together. A powerful chemistry. They settled down after a year or so..i'm happy for him and her and wish them best. I took one hour to research on the route and close to an hour to get to the hotel..driving to town is madness. I'm glad i survived without making too many wrong turns. Got free parking at the hotel so that was good too.
Attended to my HK friend on thurs. we went to boat quay for dinner and to the esplanade for drinks. Dinner was cut throat. Thats probably why you have so many people stopping you along the stretch of boat quay. Food was not bad but i could get that kinda quality for half the price. nonetheless, anything for a tourist and a friend:) i'd probably get the same kinda treatment when i'm in hk too anyway:)
After 2 weeks of battling emotions, i was so glad to be able to see you yesterday. Really. |
