Took a short holiday over the vesak day public hols to KL, with Kelly. After looking back, it was the least program packed, most relaxed, chilled and truly one of the most thrilling. I stayed with my male cousin, in his "bachelor" apartment- it really needed a woman's touch. It was good timing. He spent the first day with us..we went to eat and The Curve and went to bangsar. The club we went to was called, "The school bus". How interesting. This was round 2 of partying and not sleeping since the last night was taking a toll on me but i felt like an energizer battery and somehow, my body was still moving! moved fast enough for me to drive my cousin's proton saga. Slept in all the mornings.. how cool to do that yeah. next 2 days was about visiting my female cousins and my nieces and nephews..oh man, they have grown after 2 years! so adorable:) I could just stay there and spend time with them for a month or so. kids make me happy. So, my male cousin had to go for his company trip and his house as well as his car was left to me! wooohooo! i drove ard the place to get myself familiar, to the internet cafe and the next day, drove to Sunway Pyramid for lunch with my cuz and shopping finally. i spent a hundred plus this time, when i told myself i wasn't. I feel very unprohibited recently. Seems to have a loss of self control somehow. Well, i got myself some good stuff. AFter sunway, our plan was to go to bukit bintang for dinner and then to KL zouk. My cuz told me not to drive it as the city is really hectic and traffic is crazy but after enquiring from the info counter, kelly seemed to have faith that we could somehow drive it. After a few minutes, i relented and we got out of the carpark ins earch of highway signs we barely knew, of turns and arrows which confused us. But hold and behold, we found the city and i found myself driving thru bukit bintang! trust me, if i can drive in KL city, Singapore is chicken feat. We parked somewhere safe, incurring 5.50Ringgit and we when we drove off, we realised, we were the only ones in the carpark. Oh yes, why wasnt i surprised? everyone parks illegally along the roads anyway. We moved off to find Zouk, passed this happening street, attempted through a car parking hoax, 10 ringgit! crazy.. no no. We found another spot where i managed to bargain the fee to 3 ringgit with the security guards. Zouk wasnt great, there was an event going on. We got in free and stayed for an hour plus and decided to head home! hhaah..driving cluelessly was more fun to be honest! We even bought masks to use at night before sleeping. We took off early in the morning. End of journey. Kel 's a great travel partner.Love her to bits. |
