I've lost the habit of bringing my camera out but these are just some pictures i have taken the past two weeks.. Baby isabelle , baby of my colleague, Phil was born and Phil, My supervisor has been missing in action for 2 weeks!!! so.. my director sat in for my supervision sessions, just when i was presenting my live session! GOSH. but i guess its good to learn.
The other pic shows some of us in at my centre having lunch.. we actually take turns to cook lunch on thurs and fri but since our main chef is on two months leave, we narrowed down to onw day..bleah.. but this is just one of those days.. Jason, my friend has joined us as a volunteer intern..and he'll be with us till he goes back to Perth for his honours..funny tohave my friend around..but its all professional! learn, learn , learn!
The other pic at ABN-AMRO bank was a volunteer appreciation dinner held by them. They are basically one of our "sponsors" and they run programs with their funds and we get our youths to attend.. so i was asked to go with my colleague Siew Foong. The funny thing is that i was intiially asked to give a speech.. i prepared it loads, kelly went through it once, Boss went through it another and when we went there.. there wasnt a necessity to give a speech..!! sigh. Luckily i didnt sepnd time memorizing. But yeah. I'm impressed most by their efforts to contribute to society and how they are sponsoring 5 different VWo's .. currently they have 500 staff who are within this volunteer movement. I'm happy that people are becoing more civic conscious and care more for society.
Tomo is Social Workers' Day 2007! Yippeee! For those long preps..and hard work.. i believe the event is going to be a successful one.. look out for tomo's Write up.. i MAY be quoted. haha.
One of those short interviews i gave over the phone..I really pray that there will be no rain tomo! And everything will go on smooth. Lord, Take control!Oh, Public is warmly welcome!

I went to Changi General on Tues. I was coincidentally able to go to the poly clinic, cos i went with a client but i just decided to take a queue number and get a referrel letter too.. U wont believe this. I got an appointment with the hospital about 15 hours later.. right the next day! So i went , waiting long.. and thank God i saw wileen..she was in the injection room with me.. calming my nerves.. Wel basically, my skin is really bad. And i have no control over it.. Just pray tat my skin will clear soon or i'll be upset looking at myself everyday.

My lecturer, Dr Kalyani Mehta has just been sworn in as a NMP! woooohooo! the voice for the elderly is here!
