The two most eventful during the week would be xing yee's bday celebrationa nd MY organisations annual D and D. Let's start with the 28th of Nov first..well, as a result of changin my night duty, i had to miss Sandra's jie mei gathering. On tues, we went to serangoon gardens, hoping to dine at a restaurant named friends. Apparently, its ranked no 1 in some food review website When we got there, not only did i realise that the birthday girl wasnt dressed , ir ealised FRIENDS was too pricey with little selection and too much wine. So we toured around the ever changing gardens and decided after some time on going to ice cube. It seemed really cosy and icey.. cos there were tonnes of dessert selection and crepes were on half price! So we spent about 3 hours just pigging out.. and celebrated Xingyee's 24th birthday with Jess too.

So time passed till it came to Fri. Since i've been majorly going for dance practices like 3 times a week this time, i barely had time to paint my nails, epilate my legs, etc etc.. so i rushed!!
and i brought my bright pink cheongsam, the fan and my gold heels to work with my nail polish and makeup. we were given 2 hours to dress up and i was like a princess since i got my dear colleague Rena to paint my finger and toe nails:> So.. i was reading to look like a waitress. haha.
Anyway, the D and D was at Exelsior hotel, held by methodist welfare services for all staff from all the centres. that where i met my old colleagues from covenant fsc and my 3 other classmates around the other centres. it was really fun to be honest.. esp when i won a bottle of sparkling juice as a prize for a bingo game..and also, won consolation for the best dressed competition.i must say the ladies really dressed up and it seemed really like na ethnic affair..
I think i really made a fool of myself parading ard though.. pp think i'm really comfortable doing it but actually it took a lot of inner courage.
After D and D, went to chijmes with vincent, steph, kelly and Dawn and we had an interesting time playing pool(on others' credit) and bluff using cards. heh. FUN! stayed out till 2am for the first time with my colleagues. loving it.

going back to dance, we had our full dress on sunday and something unfortunate happened. while i was doing the back roll, my nail broke and my toe started bleeding profusely. it was quite scary initally cos i knw i ahd an ingrowth all along. so much for not cutting my nails.anyway, it now wrapped up. Pray that i can point my feet easily by sat!
