So these pictures were taken on Friday when we had our school social work team planning retreat at aloha changi chalet. It was a while day event and i came back at 12 midnight.. The most interesting part was coming up with a team name. We are now called the SWAT team! Standing for, School Work At Tampines. Workers with sincerity, warmth, Approachable and have tenacity!
That was pretty much rounding off the week which i had worked the hardest. Of cos, with getting my 2nd month's pay yesterday! From working 15 hours on Tues to having case after case on Thurs. It was seriosuly a hard week and i do wanna thank people like W and N for somehow sending an encouraging message. I seriosuly have my caseload piling up. One day i had two cases assigned to me and i saw this thick set of paper on my table. I got so scared, thinking it was many cases at a go but thank God only 2 cases with the case reports. Then i had so many people looking for me in office. It was crazy really that i couldnt even switch on my computer cos i was barely at my desk. I so miss sitting on my chair. Well, let's hope, i'll learn to manage each day better.
Amidst being so busy durin the day, i was busy every night of the week too.. Mon, i had tuition, Tues, on night duty. Wed, i went to NUS . Thurs , i went to watch lovewrecked! and Fri, i had the retreat which seemed like a full day of counselling. haha. Today i feel free although i had a meeting in church just now. And now, i've to go for a hen's night party for my cousin. Late night again. Looks like its a trend in my life now. To set off early, come back late. OH OH!! the best part is i didnt even touch my laptop at home till today since Mon! how amazing eh. So yeah. Basically, i'm loving my job and llife but it gets a bit draining when i dunno how to handle the time pressure and sometimes, loneliness in the midst of business.
