Retail therapy IS REALLY good. I'm usually a thrifty person so i don't buy things for myself much but since i had all the birthday vouchers, i decided to use them on sun.. Of course by the time i hit suntec, i could feel the sore in my legs.. Well, i was dancing for service this week.. after quite some time and extraordinarily, there were like 10 songs and more than half were praise songs. I actually gave it all i could. I told myself that i just wanna rejoice and celebrate over what he has done in my life and i did just that.. couldnt stop dancing throughout the whole 2 services. It was an amazing feeling because i knew that was rejoicing before Him. However, becasue i didnt warm up rpoperly and pushed the limit, i am now down and out with muscle pull,s both my calves and my lower back. i woke up being unable to walk and i was taking step at a time, walking like a grandmother, so my colleagues put it. I wanted to go for a massage during lunch time but it costs like $50!! oh man. Well.. i beared with it. Hopefully it gets better tomo cos i need to move around, Will be going to my first school for school social work tomo.. groupwork with single parent kids on berievement and loss.
So back to shopping. I went to suntec with Kris after MM prayer and we first went to COLD wear..to get something for a dear friend of mine leaving for the states. Sighs. 2 of my friends are leaving for new york this August . One for 6 months, the other for 6 years. OUCH. So then we went to IORA to get clothes since i have vouchers.. only to know each $20 voucher can only be sued for one item so i have to top up the difference.. ended up topping up $44 for 3 pieces. Well, they're nice though. Then made my way to swatch. Its wierd but above all that i shortlisted, i found one particularly glaourous and nice. Thats the picture you see. I bought it. Topped up under $30.Thanks Jason and Jeremy for the vouchers! Bringin back new items did not stop there. I had my aunt's birthday dinner and i got 2 tops from my cousin and cousin's gf..they were meant for my birthday too. Wow! so i went back with like 6 pieces of clothing and a watch. It feels good really. I dunno, just a wierd feeling of buying things without needing to pay much for them and not feeling guilty about it cos they are gifts! Am not done with the vouchers. Next stop has to be takashimaya.
