Melbourne's been going great. Today was my Dad's 50th birthday btw and lucky him, got to spend it at the Great Ocean Road. Well, the day before and today was "touristy". Yesterday we went to Philip Island, we got to feed kangaroos, see kuala's, ducks, etc etc.. and then the penguins!! yeah its a wonder of nature and we got to see the penguins coming back to their home in Philip island about 545pm. Once it hits 545pm, everywhere is DARK. Its like 12 midnight in Singapore.. So that was an experience.. We got back about 1030pm and Vijay(family friend) took us out for dessert at Lygon street.. we were really freezing away.. it was about 3 degrees and pram and i were walking street to street to find vijay..its crazy! so today we got up at 7am to get ready to go to rhe Great Ocean Road and i just got back about 9pm.. Well, as u know it is fanous for the 12 Apostles but for your info, only 9 of them are left. Mum and sis took a helicopter ride over the 12 apostles and i believe they had the time of their life. we also went to the otway tropical rainforest..it was a cool experience too.. it felt wet cos its a rain forest of course.. and then went to some bushes..walked here and there..to see many many limestones.. we travelled ont he bus for really long and it was a windy road so it wasnt that comfy. I love the tour guide. She even baked cookies for us this morning.. She made the experience even sweeter.
3 days have passed.. tomo , its meeting people day. Meeting 3 friends, and my mum's cousin and her son.. and its shopping tomo too! The last day before we hit brisbane. Everythings going Great. WE LOVE THIS HOSTEL so uch that we decided to stay through till we leave Melbourne.
I wish and pray that some of you, my friends will get to experience this some time in your life:)
The faster my holidays end, the sooner i've to start work so trying not to think of it.
