oK SO i havent blogged for 2 days.. for those who have absolutely no contact with me.. this is an update.. well, we had to get up about445am on fri morning to catch our flight to Gold coast.. We were real early to check in so had good time for breakfast.. well, jetstar flights always get delayed and so did this one..well, it was a packed flight and we slept through the 2 hrs.. We took a cab from GC coolangatta airport to surfer's paradise, which is where, our apartment named surf regency was located.. it was LOVELY. just directly opposite the beach .. we have an EXCELLENT view.. but we had to change room today cos that was a last min booking for the 1st night..but yeah.. apartments are fully contained and equipped..and we could do everything from cooking to washing clothes..we went for lunch at red rooster and shopped atcavill ave.. the malls in surfers.. bought some stuff AGAIN(when ami going to stop!) everything i see i just wanna buy for people.. but i'm sad that i cant find the dreamweaver Jo wanted.. and the billabong bag for jacin is still $50 aus.. dunno whether to buy it..So, we went to the supermarket and hyper me wanted to cook so we went marketing!(my hobby) and got back to whip up a vegetable rissoto, potato and mushrooms in butter as well as an omelette. After that we went to catch the surfer's night market.. everything was handicrafted really.. so many butterflies were being sold.. fell in love with all of them.. bought some things.. everything was expensive cos you're paying for somaeone's talent yah.. after that we walked all around and checked out the place.. my best buy/ collector's item kinda memorabilia buy is this pair of purple drumsticks with the surfers paradise, hard rock cafe sign on it. of course, its the only one in thr world cos its from surfer's paradise. it was $23!!! my sis insisted that i buy it though i never saw myself buying it in a million years cos it costs more than a gown that i wanted to buy here for $20 aus.well..what to do. we slept and woke up at 9 today. WHY? COs we had SURFING LESSONS!! yep, pram and i took a surf class to learn.. it wet on for 2hrs.. and it was sooo fun to ride the waves but it was so tough too..i enjoyed myself though i got bruises and aggravated dry skin..i will most prob be doing more theis coming week before i leave on wed night..we went to the heated pool and jacuzzi and totally relaxed thereafter.. moved into the new apartment unit and then my uncle came with his "wife"(someone he's staying with yet not married to her) and drove a 110km to Brisbane.. thats where he stays.. so he took us ard.. to his place, to his "wife"'s place, to the ITALIAN club which is like a country club where there's pool, jackpots, ballroom dance, dinner.. like a coutnry club.. we stayed till 9 till we were FAMISHED.then moved to the treasury casino to have dinner at club 21 and i had the fish of the day which is sword fish and we had lotsa bailey's cheese cake and chocolate cake.. and best part is, we were treated! thereafter, pram's friend, nishta met us at EMBASSY to take us to club.. another experience there.. AUSTRALIANS party hard. not dancing, just drinking and smoking..and taking drugs.. oh man. we stayed till 3 , had pancakes and smoothie and came to stay at nishta's place.. its small and cosy and im sharing the bed with my sis and only have 3 hours of sleep!!
