 Congratulations gayathri chachi! So its this indian custom where before a girl wants to get married, the man's side's family must come over to the girl's house with some gifts and ask for her hand in marriage.. So that was what happened yesterday. No engagement yet, just that the permission is granted. She's getting married in Jan next year.. thats when she turns 28..a reasonable age to get married i think.. well.. i guess, she's finally decided to settle down..Happy for her. Here's a pic with some cousins and other close young ones. |
