Skipped school. Feels so good to rest! Over the past two days, i managed to find time for 2 movies on channel 58. One was legally blonde 2 and the other which i just watched was uptown girls. Both were "sappy" comedies but i really enjoyed it. Through the sappiness, i found a lot of undertones..Legally blonde..the lawyer had a cause to fight for. To ban animal testing and she fought for it and won. She never gave up and fought through the multiple obstacles. How inspiring. I always wanted to be a lawyer . Uptown girls tells me about the strength of a 8 yr old child.. not really loved and cared for..and she had to hold it all in.. it was a facade but i know that in all of us, there is a side of a child. Just like the nanny.. she was still a child.. standing in front of a merry go round.. wishing it would never stop.. nice movies. what a great break. I finished my proposal today, with all the research questions in. Got to learn how my new scanner works and got so excited. Had a really encouraging message from Jeannette and u don't know how much that meant to me. Mum bought me a KFC meal. Wow. how would i rate today? 10/10. |
