Its christmas and i'm sick. sigh.
Well, this time, Christmas aint as "happy" for me. I totally miss christmas 2004. Plus, this christmas has been so packed for me that i hardly had time to breathe.. been dancing and dancing.. barely recuperated from the mission trip and on the ball again.. well, i enjoyed it but now i'm paying the price for my busyness. Yesterday was kris's house party and yet again, awesome food! but I felt sick yesterday right after the worship practise at 9am.. woke up with a swollen throat, like a big lump that seems to be choking me and preventing me from having easy swallows and a big headache. I shouldn't have slept so late but its all worth it. Today its worse. I barely had breakfast and lunch cos it hurts so much to swallow. My fever has been going up. Kris and Jerm came over after we did marketing for the house party tomo and my mum asked them to bring me to the doctor.. guess what, i had to miss another family function tonight cos i'm sick. So now, i'm all alone at home. Feelings of loneliness overcome me but at least i got down to thinking of my research topic!But thanks for the company dude and dudette. You never fail to cheer me up.
What really made me flip was the price i paid just to see the doctor.$54!! JUST $30 FOR CONSULTATION. Its madness really. Doctor said i could have tonsilitis, a throat infection and if i start having rashes in three days, its probably dengue.*fingers crossed not"Its really hard to eat and i'm gonna miss out on all the great christmas food over the next few days!
Its crazy cos i have a dinner every night till the 28th..Busy busy.
I misS Christmas 2004. Time machine anyone?
It doesnt feel like christmas. and what? another year has passed?!
