So yesterday had a very good service.. There was a guest speaker and he spoke about living wisely(in the "kyros" moment") in the days of evil. Taken from Ephesians 5:16. Overall, it was refreshing. i pray that the word of God stays within me at every waking moment..Kept singing songs like "Jesus you're all i need, all i want.." makes me ponder about whether what we say from our mouths are really being manifested in the lives we lead. There are so many distractions that can't wait to eat you up by consuming your time and energy and filling your thoughts. Busyness is the biggest culprit. well, anyway, i went out for lunch with parents (finally!) while having kris, jeremy, steph and bryan with us..combining aint too bad, my parents wont be that bored. Haha. second service felt empty really.. not that many people. So after that, kaiyin drove and picked me, kris and jerm up from the bustop and all of em including Julian came to my place and there was a really interesting compartmentalisation. In the hall was kris and jerm wtching a vcd(which kris hates so she went into sleep after a while), in the ktichen was kaiyin teaching Julian and i was wandering from place to place.. haha.. oh. i was online.. so well, so basically, everyone was doing their own thing. anyway, i had to study for the stooopid IT test today.. so i just glimpsed through.. had a nice call from a friend to motivate me at midnight.. yeah i went on till about 2 i think. Thank God for the call to keep me going. I hate to study.. can i say that again?
OK so today had Nair's Lecture again and i was bored again..and tried studying for the test but ws more bored..there were guest speakers.. went for the test after that and i was stumped cos i barely understood what i studied.. i just knew where to find the infor from the text and so i spent so much time flipping the text. so tempted to copy but well, their answers may be worse than my guesses so.. whatever.. didnt care. didnt put in much effort so i'm not gonna get much out of it either. ANyway, after the test, went to get some readings zapped, searched for some info online and then kaiyin was gonna send me to my driving place.
so we went to the carpark and she went out from the lot and hold and behold, the gantry was so narrow that we got the car stucked and couldnt move out. It scratched a little of the door.. the ticket counter machine was in the way of us getting out. so she panicked while i stayed calm. i felt so terrible cos i didnt know how to help. we finally got a guy fromt hecarpark to help drive the car out and he did ut too abd, the door already had a dent and scratches. I geuss it must have dashed her confidence.. people were so mean ont he road.. she apoplogized to a man and he just kept laughing at her form his car. what an idiot. She just got her liscence less than a month ago and she's driving on her own! Hello, she's so fantastic btw. I'm so proud of her. So i was real late for driving , about half and hour.. so only had driving for an hr today but i was great! i only stalled the engine once cos i panicked.But i didnt learn anything new today. just practised. So i went home after that and didnt leave the tv set. Thanks to my period. i cleared the other bed in my room though and its a lot cleaner now. just couldnt stand the sight. Well, thank God for the rest today. Got to start on an essay tomo!!
