i managed to get up again today. Thank God. but i woke up at 230am and 730am and kinda panicked cos i thot i'd be late. i actually jumped out of bed u know. haha. well, i got up finally and was early for the exam. to my surpise, the paper was easy although i could have done better with memorizing but yeah.. the questions that i did for my favourite course:
In sociology, family has been commonly defined as "a social gp characterised by common residence, economic co operation and reproduction. it includes adults of both sexes, at least 2 of whom maintain a socially approved sexual relationship, and 1 or more children, own or adopted, of the sexually cohabiting adults" (murdock) H/w, recent development in family studies has criticized this definition as inadequate and at times, ideological. what are those criticisms ? do you think the conventiona definition of family is still of any use?
2)Discuss how and in what ways are love and marrriage being romanticised and commericialised. what are the implications of these?

i could actually write although i seemed to propound alternative forms of family which i dun believe in. just to please my lecturer. haha. so after that i went with phoe tot he exchange ofice and on the way shes thinking of which hall to pick next sem and surprisingly, she likes my floor and hall so much she wants to stay here but i told her to choose starr.. so dunno what she will decide. lucky girl, gets to stay for another sem. will miss her loads esp when i'm the closest to her here in hk.i guess it gives me to reason to run to hk the moment airfares are cheap. i got home thereafter, munched on pizza for lunch and slacked till now!well at least i got things settled for sis, taught her a bit of canto to get ard and thought of her holiday plan.also went down to pay for her accomodationa and the extention of my hall. i havent studied for my paper tomo and i have about 4 hrs to do so. interesting how relaxrd i am. just to pass, come on, i need more motivation than that to study harder!
