It was Aprils fools on fri and I fooled a ton of them!i had a presentation today and it went great.. I did spednd some wuality time preparing for it so I felt confident and spoke well.. lecturer said we did well too.. thank God, one down. Had dance practice till I went to meet Karen.. she came down on a business trip and I met her at Hard Rock Café last night..And no dinner cos hard rock only served snacks..sigh.. didn’t eat anything but snacks man. Her colleague, zach was there too.. he’s Indian and also works at NUS UCC. He did give me a relatively good impression compared to a lot of other Indian guys. Well, he wanted to go and do some bargain shopping so I brought Karen and him to temple street but due to the weather/ drizzle, the shops closed by 1230..then we walked to mongkok towards the ladies market and that too was down.. tough luck.. so we took a cab back to the hotel.. wow.. nice bed and bathtub! Luxury for me.. I slept till 1 next aft while Karen was out on business. since I was in Tsim Sha Shui, I decided to thread my eyebrows.. moreover, I have a grand high table dinner on Mon and my dance performance on wed so it was worth it.. and for once, I actually walked the streets there alone.. couldn’t find anything to eat cos the menu’s are usually in Chinese.. so I didn’t have lunch till 4pm.. Karen and I checked out at 3pm and she had to be back by 445 to catch her bus to the airport so it was mad mad rush.. I went to get something at mac’s while she was shopping..it wasn’t that fruitful fellowship though.. sadly cos she was rushing and I couldn’t keep up cos I was carrying two heavy bags!Oh! my mum sent lotsa stuff thru her and yeah.. so I was carrying them.., Thank you mummy! and I was just following her till we parted at harbour view cos she was zooming too fast.. short trip, short fellowship but being with her reminded me of how much I didn’t even need tot talk but just be in the company of another fellow Singaporean..feels like home..i walked all around tst today and oh man.. it wasn’t that much of a pleasure but yeah// it was quite warm today..i didn’t need a jacket! Well anyway, I sat down at the stairs of a park! I didn’t care.. while waiting for Anjli.. she sat with me too! Anyway, we chatted for a while till we decided to move to macs but we didn’t end up there.. why! Cos the retail shops caught our attention! She went mad looking at all the tops from “in and out” and wanted to buy the whole stack and split it between the two of us.. we couldn’t try the clothes and she even called her friend living nearby to allow her to try the bought clothes there..funny.. well, we worked it out.. trying the clothes at the shop after buying them.. anj and I both liked this pink top but in the end, I decided to take the green one.. weird colour man.. I’ve never worn green but she reminded me that its worth a try! Life’s about always trying too yeah?so I was running late for cell and she being the devil’s advocate told me to forget abt cell cos it ‘s a Saturday! What an excuse and I refused ..anyway I’m seeing her on Sunday for dinner at her friends place.. I got an invitation there..looking forward to good Indian food! Well..went for cell and my cell leader was staring at me cos I fooled him on Friday! And not just him.. so many pp got fooled that I was going back to Singapore on Sunday! Heheh.. my best friend even called my sis to check!this is hilarious.. my hk friends weren’t too happy though.. they took it sooooo seriously..funny!yeah and then keet said that underneath an angel(me), there’s actually a naughty side inside! Hehe.. he’s right..
So I rushed back after cell in the hope to watch survivor and o cook with phoebe.. I couldn’t watch much of survivor cos someone else was watching tv! I should book the tv next time eh..but we cooked and I tried my mum’s chicken masala.. kannotam chicken and it was awesome stuff man! Really goooood…I had a satisfying meal..but this did cost.. about 9-10 hkd.Sigh chicken costs..
Then I was too tired and bored to do any sch work so I was online till weiyi and Vivian came to my room to try my clothes.. ehhe..they are always doing that..so cute.. mon is a very grand high table dinner.. I will be wearing my purple gown and am lending weiyi my black dress..sigh that dress is overused and overseen.. hehe..but everyone likes it..i remember getting that dress from my ex bf though. Today, i set off at 2 something to give tuition.. didnt go to church cos i went for cell last night..i cooked a good meal.. leftover chicken from last night, vegetables in oyster sauce and rice..and then gave tuition for 2 and a half hours.. another half hr was my own willingness. then i was supposed to go to Anjli's friends house but it got cancelled..what a waste.. i actually dressed well today. but instead of meeting her.. i met the singaporean bunch after their basketball game.. and we went to this small road shop and they ate duck, goose, etc.. of course, i didnt eat.. saved money! and did grocery shopping.. oh! kris called from Perth today! so glad to hear her voice.. she said she was really bored.. poor girl.. now i'm back in hall.. and i'm going to do thosai.. my mum gave me some pre packed mixture and i'm gonna try it now.. and go for dance prac and dance till the wee hours of the morning .. breaking record WITH MY SLEEP TIME!
