| Went for the morning lecture, Olga had to come into my room and get me up!I had a sociology lecture today about sanme sex intimacy and had a lesbian as a guest speaker. sigh. was in canto but our lecturer has a translation for us and she saw the way i was reacting to everything thats being said.. esp the one on besides men and women, there are other forms.. gender is not fixed. Gosh.. then she kinda playfully patted my head and said its true and i was like, ya right. haha.. i didnt wanna raise any arguments or the lect wouldnt end.. then in class, we talked abt divorce and the tutor wanted the chrisitians to speak first and the guys started.. then came to my turn and i clarified the grounds thatw e could divorce in the case of EMA. pp hold the belief that christians are NOT ALLOWED to divorce.. so i kinda raised a point.. also about how in the bible we are supposed not to be yoked with non believers so in that case, God is the centre and will hold the marriage together so as a holy covenant divorce is not an alternative..yeah so bold to say all these.. proud of myself! Thank God. But then again, there are way too many stories of christians breaking up in divorce too so there was like a small debate..thats why i believe that the will of God surpasses all understanding. two christians can be married but they need not be willed by God and thats why some pt or another, divorce is an option. Gosh, the sociological views of everything is so complex i feel it goes against the bible sometimes. Men try to find answers and end up not getting any. Then i wasn looking forward to business lect so phoebs and i went to print our essays to be handed up. sigh. my cover page looked crap compared to her. anyway, we entered the lecture theatre on the last half an hour.. good enough ar!surprisingly, i saw vishaw coming in with the egyptian guy and he said he's killing time before his next lect and it seems to be that he was in there to see me. i keep bumping into him nowadays and he's a natural conversationalist so he strikes a conversation till i have to find the excuse to leave. Yest i bumped into him in the lib and he like had a momentous shock and gulp. funny man.Well, just a handful of indians in HKU and most of them are stuck up big time. he's really nice compared to all of em. Well, i was free after busi lect so pheob andi were contemplating whether to see the doc but we were too lazy heh..we'll go next week i guess.. poor girl she's sick..yeah so went to have lunch and then to the lib where i met philip, the german guy to do our cantonese role play script. it was fun! cos both our canto sucks so the locals helped us most of the time. and he's friendly.. we were talking abt beijing and all.. cool.then phoeb and i did research in china and got it settled before meeting the rest for dinner at admiralty..phoebs and i decided to share again. thats the problem when we have rich friends. after that the china trip preparations started..and yeah we're almost settled.. in a week.. i'll be booking my air tickets.. we'll come back to hong kong onthe 17th.. and then spend a few more days before returning home. sigh. phoeb and i are contemplating staying till early july.. if she gets her rural china thing, i'll stay here with her .. then i can stilll teach my tuition kid and earn money.. haha..we have so many places that we can stay somemore.. so many friends we've made..yeah so thats a possibility.. will wait till phoebs knows and then go on with the plan.yipee! i can be a butterfly for longer! |
