It was such an interesting day.. I got to lecture late again and though I entered the wrong room cos it was someone else speaking in Cantonese and I realized I was in the right place. We had a talk from the prison centre and they were christian based.So I had a translater throughout.. then came the sharing session and it seemed like evangelism in class!They ex convicts that were there were really happy and kept telling the students that JeSUS saved them. Its amazing yeah that they have been transformed in the likeness of Christ..seriously.. was encouraged by their fervent faith! Then came our social policy tutorial where I was actively participating for the first time! It was a discussion on poverty.. think they all struggled to keep it purely English cos of me and Andy.. haha. I had a discussion on OB today and we got things settled.. I wanted to attend the Christian meeting again today but cos of the presentation, we ended at 845 and the meeting ends at 9 but something prompted me to go and I did!it went on till 945! There was so much fire in the place! It was purely hearts longing for God’s visitation and favour in the universities of Hk and it was amazing to see so many Christians with that same heartbeat.. so the team from America that came is now heading off for Taiwan to spread the fire of campus transformation there..after it ended, I was walking back with windy and she suddenly said that she was not a good chrisitian and I beat her telling her that she shoudnt say that cos all of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and she started sharing with me that she hadn’t attended church for 2 yrs and is moving further and further away from God.. I was so glad that God placed me in that situation to listen and encourage her.. so at the end of the day, I encouraged her to spend some time with God and telling him her fear of losing him and grow closer to him and she said she wants to.. U know, God really plans everything for his children and its so appropriate! In his timing he makes all things beautiful yeah.. when I got back.. I received a skype msg from kaiyin to call her whne I’m back and its amazing cos I wanted to tell her abt the day too and yeah so she called me and we talked for 2 and a half hours! She’s currently number one in my Singaporean caller list for clogging in the longest duration in talking to me! Nat trails behind at 1 hr 45 mins.. who’s next... Kristen at one and a half.. thank you guys for being so nice and caring!
Mummy, u got to catch up! Haha.. never mind.. u call the most number of times.. that’s cool too!so yeah I just hung up with kaiyin and it was such a great conversation..goodnight for now!
