The morning didnt turn out good at all. i was really unhappy and sad..dun ask me why.. i got up abt 1230 and was hungry and realised i had one frozen pizza left and i went to heat it up/but this itm,e i did other things while it was heating up and it got slightly burnt and hard..so thats what i had for lunch..sigh.. then i was latein meeting my friends again.. they wanted to go to the new territories..and visit the wishing tree.well, i had to go la..so i went with them and one of my friemds checked up on how to get there.. it was like 2 hrs to just get there but guess what. just when we thought we knew where we were, we realized that we were at the wrong place!there are two wishing trees in HK and we were at the common tree..we were like an hour away form the actual tourist wishing tree..so we spent lotsa time to figure out how to get there.. we took a cab to the bus station and took a bus that went on for like 45 mins..and then when we reached the wishing tree at 630pm after setting off at 3 pm, we realized we took 3 hours tor each there. so what is the wishing tree?its quite superstitious. its like a few trees and then u buy an orange tied to a few sheets of paper.. it looks like the temple paper.. scary..and then u open the paper and write ur wish in there, fold it again and u aim to throw it as high as u can so that it stays on the tree.. to me it was damn corny.. but others take it so seriously, they burn jostics and ppray first before attempting to do it and some others look like experts at it..i didnt wanna buy the paper and orange but my friend bought for me..can u beat tht.. and iw as laughing all the way saying that they are just making business..so i wrote a wish for a friend (in jesus name, amen)and threw it.. the first time i threw it, the orange flew to the floor and the paper to the back of me.. the orange cracked..hhaa..and some guys behind me were swearing at me cos i almost hit them..haha..then i left the paper where it was but something told me to just go there and take it and throw it.. after all it's a tourist spot and would be interesting to get it stuck on a tree..so i thre it again without an orange and it got up there.. amazing cos the tree is huge and my friends said i'm really lucky..well, i know its crap man. but its interesting how people look to such things as a form of hope rather than turn to God who supplies all their needs.. it got me thinking that when Jesus is free salvation,why wouldnt people put their trust in Him? wierd? and why are we taking so long and making it so fdifficult to testify of His love? think about that ya..
so after that we headed to tin po station and had our dinner and took the MTR.. on the way they were deciding where to go and i made the decision to go to Mongkok! thats the place to shop/ i justhad to buy a pair of my boots.. i know my sis is looking forward to seeing it and so i had to get it before winter ends and the prices shoot up.. so i went there.. while i was looking for boots.. my mind got directed to swim wear and the bikini's were selling for $13 singapore dollars.. really pretty ones.. so i got one.. sigh.. waste money but it was too good an offer.. why does somethign tell me that i should have got a few pieces of everything and go back to singapore and sell them? hmm., this entrepreunial mind seems to be part of me.. so then thereafter we went to the ladies market and i saw nice jeans! but the lady didnt accept my bargain..so i walked off, she called me back but still not down to the price i wanted.. so i left it.. and went to the boots stall.. found one really nice paur but she was only willing to give it to me..for..S$25 but i was only willng to pay S$22 AND so i walked off, she called me back and said she'll give me the price i want.. but unfortunately she didnt have a new pair..so too bad..then we went to this 4 story shopping mall which is so much cheaper than the market and in one shop all the boots were selling for like S$17 and yeah i got one for myself..and hopefully my sis will like it too.. yipee... my agenda fulfilled so we headed back home.. and yeah got back at 1145.. and am happy abt that.. Am going to church tomo and got to get uo at 945am and its 323am now.. i tried SKYPE with kaiyin and was talking to her for 2 hours.. pls download skype and we can talk for free as long as u have a mic!so its exciting.. i'm gonna bring my tambourine to church tomo if i'm not late.. so yeah!
