Gosh i'm such a pig! the earliest i can ever wake up is like 1pm and that would be today.. was supposed to go for a dim sum breakfast with my friends and even slept in weiyi's room last night so that we can get up /wake each other up and get going..but yet.. to no avail..i just couldn't get up.so i slept in till one pm..got myself back on my floor and had to open the fridge to see what i had to cook for lunch. yesterday, i figured out that my eggs, hotdogs and mushrooms were missing from the fridge and i'm really upset about that..my three favourite ingredients.. sigh.. i really dun even wanna think of where it's gone..i'm so scared to pack the fridge up with my things anymore.. so well.. i took out my chicken fillet and diced it into cubes and dumped it into my soup of maggie mee, boiled the green vegetables and fried potato wedges cut from the potatoes . It was good. sigh, i'm running short of recipes..MUM!Give me recipes! now i so appreciate the hard work put into cooking and washing up when i have to do it myself man..but yeah..i can cook a meal so its all good training.Then another floor mate, shirleen came to cook as well.. she's really nice and we were talking about stuff like movies, culture..she's one of the nicest and approachable people on my floor..i really like her..I got online and started chatting..what else is new..and i got so absorbed that i was running so late for the steamboat dinner ,invited by my cell group leader, Keat and his wife.while i was online, someone very close to my heart dedicated a song by Edwin McCain, "i'll be your crying shoulder" to me and i started tearing. was really touched and emotional about it. That didnt turn out too good huh.i wish i had a more time to speak with this person..but well..busted with time!
So i left to the other part of the island and visited Keat's place(a singaporean married a hongkonger)/a locals house for the first time.. it was the more "high class" comparative to the rest of Hong kong..it was small but cosy..and we had hotpot..they keep giving me food that i'd never tried in my life..i really can't remember what they made me bite today but it was so raw and yeah.. i tried it and said i didnt like it so i was spared from eating more..so far they've made me try ostrich, eel and whatever i ate today. Gosh..when in the world would i ever do this.I'm a shame to Singapore man. Well, i met the other cell members.. a lot of them have studied or worked abroad in some point in their lives.. and it comprises of the 20 somethings. It was fun.. we played uno and had wierd desserts like pumpkin custard.. cheese cake!This guy, Alex did them and i was awed.So Kyle ,Mary and I left.. Mary is from canada.. just got to know her and she has made the decision to go back to canada on Mon.. how sad..had a short tiff with Kyle over the fastest way to get back to hall and i told him he was stubborn.. haha..well,he's really stubborn.
All in all, the evening was good fellowship and i got back the earliest for this week at 1130pm! Prasie God..But i wouldnt be able to sleep anyway..its so cold, 17 degrees today eh..
